An exciting new opportunity has arisen to work for an NHS organisation who are seeking to appoint a Head of Resourcing, for 3 months in the first instance.The postholder will be responsible for the development and delivery of a Resourcing Strategy to meet the current and future workforce requirements of the organisation.Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading on the development and delivery of a Resourcing Strategy to meet the current and future workforce requirements of the organisation;
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the resourcing services teams measuring performance through agreed KPIs, objective setting and SLAs;
- Taking a lead in respect of the Medical Workforce requirements;
- Managing workload distribution and ensuring all full end-to-end recruitment lifecycle activities are delivered;
- Implementing pro-active recruitment programmes utilising predictive workforce planning information;
- Ensuring the organisation is able to effectively and safely recruit and retain the range of Doctors required.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Significant experience of delivering resourcing strategies within an NHS setting;
- Experience of assuming overall corporate responsibility for medical recruitment;
- Evidence of supporting senior clinical leaders to identify, and deliver resourcing plans for operationally critical roles;
- The ability to interpret highly complex national strategies;
- Strong negotiation, communication and influencing skills.
