Software Commissioning Engineer

The company specialises in automated warehouse solutions and is a global company who designs, installs and maintains the automation machinery on behalf of their clients. As a Software Commissioning Engineer you will be a part of an international team of engineers supporting clients with their automated solutions.

Responsibilities:

You model, parameterize and configure our software according to individual customer requirements
You ensure software quality by testing the software with our simulators
The commissioning of the software in cooperation with all different technology specialists is an important part of your job profile
You will also ensure quality through on-site integration tests and support our customers with functional tests and training before the start-up phase
The implementation of adaptations of our software according to the customer's needs is also your important task
After commissioning, you will prepare the project and hand it over to downstream departments for further processing

Requirements:

You have completed an apprenticeship in the field of IT
You have basic knowledge of object-oriented programming (C++, C# and/or Java)
In addition, you also have basic knowledge of relational databases (SQL or Oracle) and Linux
You like to travel internationally (on average about 50% per year)
You speak good English
You are open to new things, stress-resistant and customer-oriented
